About Maa Bhagwati Sewa Mandal
With the Blessings of Maa Jhandewali Jee, Maa Bhagwati Sewa Mandal was formed on 3rd October 2005 by Mr. Vinod Arora. Maa Bhagwati Sewa Mandal is a group of Sewadars (Non Professionals), who are serving Maa Bhagwati with Sampurn Traditions without demands of Phal. We are willing to help the Indian Community and the people who worship Mother, all over the world by performing Meri Maiya’s Jagran and Chowki at minimum expenses. We allow worship with flowers only (not with cash/money), so that people also known us as “Phoolon Wali Mandli.”
Mr. Vinod Arora was born in 1963 in Khatauli (Muzaffarnagar, U.P.). He completed his graduation in commerce from Devnagri College, Meerut(Meerut University). He joined Sree Durga Sankirtan Mandal, Khatauli in 1975 as a member, and learnt Sampoorn vidhi of performing Jagrans and Chowkis from Late Sh. Hari Chand Raheja, Late Sh. Tilak Raj Grover and Late Sh. Kishan Lal Taneja(All former Presidents of Shree Durga Sankirtan Mandal, Khatauli). He continued to perform regular Chowkis and Jagrans, till he was in Khatauli, but had to leave the place in 1987, to join R.C. Sood & Co. Ltd.(Eros Group) as an Accounts assistant in Delhi. After working with Eros Group for about two and half years, he joined C.J.International Hotels Ltd.(Hotel Le Meridian) as the Accounts Superviser, and after that, he worked with Bharti Telecom Limited (Parent Company of Airtel) as the Senior Accounts officer from 1991 to 2002.
He decided to start his own business in 2002, so he left his job, and started his own Data Management firm, JMD Data Services.
Along with his work, he has been performing Selfless (Nishkam) Chowkis and Jagrans. He started performing Chowkis and Jagrans in 1975, and formed his own Group along with other people, who wanted to offer themselves to the selfless service of Goddess Durga in 2005, today known as Maa Bhagwati Sewa Mandal, with the main aim to discourage offerings in Chowkis and Jagrans. He encouraged the offering flowers ( Phool/Pushp) to the goddess instead of money, and hence Maa Bhagwati Sewa Mandal is also well known as Phoolon Wali Mandli.
